He read the room and understood the vibe we were going for and was able to fill in the blanks in our provided playlists perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests regarding how good the music was, which made us really happy. Nick was also very flexible and accommodating as we had a lot of last-minute song choices (night before and day-of). He did everything to make sure we were on the same page with the song choices and song order, especially regarding the grand entrance and first dance songs. “I used Summit Events Co. for my December '24 wedding and could not recommend them more! DJ Ben was SO fun and really kept the party alive. He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!”

“We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

We had him play acoustically for before our ceremony, during our ceremony, and at the cocktail hour. He even learned a song especially for the wedding party processional that we requested. Despite their busy schedule, they managed to fit us in and did an exceptional job, making us look absolutely perfect on our special day. Their professionalism and skill were evident throughout the entire process. We were impressed by their attention to detail and how they listened to our preferences, ensuring that we felt comfortable and confident with the final look. Eva and Maria's ability to adapt to unexpected situations like ours is truly commendable. Although the last-minute change was a bit stressful, the seamless way in which Eva and Maria handled everything provided us with a sense of relief and confidence. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

“Misha is incredible! Wedding florals can be so daunting, but from our first Zoom meeting, all of my worries were gone. It was clear Misha genuinely enjoys making a personal connection with her clients. She checked in periodically and was available whenever we had questions. I knew Misha was going to create something beautiful, but beautiful is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Our wedding florals were stunning. I told Misha I wanted bright and fun, but that was really it. As a result of our conversations, I knew I could trust her vision and creativity. She blew us away! As soon as I saw them, my jaw dropped. She created 2 floral columns for the ceremony space and lined the aisle with the most magnificent florals. And when I say florals, I mean florals. Her designs are teeming with blooms! Everything down to the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages was full of substance. She also created the most amazing couch installation for one of our lounge areas that was the backdrop for one of our favorite pictures. Every guest at our wedding made a comment about the florals being exquisite, and we could not agree more. Misha was then able to repurpose all of the florals from the ceremony space to the reception space as centerpieces for the tables and decoration for the sweetheart table. I will never get over how absolutely perfect the florals were on our wedding day. Misha has a gift, and anyone getting married should 100 percent work with her as their florist.”
